Name: Boyd Crowder
Canon: Justified
Scrubs Color: Red
Visible Age: 40s
Gender: Male
Height: 5′ 10″
Physique: Boyd is lanky in appearance despite not being very tall, and while he's broad shouldered a lot of his muscle tends to look more lean than bulky. Basically, if you take a short wax bean and make it look like a pipe cleaner and stick a bunch of crazy hair on top, you have Boyd.
Complexion: His skin is clear, despite being a little naturally weathered due to age.
Hygiene: Boyd keeps himself incredibly neat and tidy at all times, unless he's doing work like down in the mines. Then he looks like a chimney sweep from marry poppins with guns.
Hair: I could write a saga on Boyd Crowder's hair but it is short and wild, the type that's spiked up even though he doesn't use any product. It probably has a life of it's own.
Eyes: Harrowing, intelligent, and hazel.
Defining Marks: He has a few tattoos, none of which are really good. The mos tnoticable one is a swastika on soulder, as well as barbed wire on both his arms and 'JC' over his heart above an obvious gunshot wound. On top of these, he has a scorpion on his left shoulderblade and knuckle tattoos reading SKIN.
Accent/Speech: Probably the first thing people notice about him that's not appearance wise. Boyd is from the south and has a heavy southern accent, but it's extremely important to note that he doesn't come across as inbred or a hick. He has more of a southern dandy tone, and is prone to using four words when he can use one. A good example is here!
Bearing/Demeanor:Despite being average height, he carries himself like he's about 6 feet tall. He's incredibly intimidating, and if his true front is shown it will be one hell of an intimidating figure. He smiles and tends to smile a lot, especially when things are going his way, so that's not exactly a good thing.
Gait: Long strides, straight posture.
Habits: No overt ones though he talks with his hands at times.
Skills:Let's go through a list:
FIREARMS Boyd, being a soldier and a Crowder and from Kentucky, is extremely well versed in firearms of all kinds, but mainly a pistol and a shotgun.
WAR VETERAN In order to leave Harlan he joined the army, serving in Kuwait. This has given him the same abilities that most army vets have: basic tactics, ability to live on rations, and the like.
OUTLAW If you need someone to intimidate, beat up, or otherwise deal with the things that normal, everyday people don't want to, Boyd will be happy to. For a price, of course. He can keep it as secret as you owe him a little something in return.
COERCION It's no mistake even Rachel Brooks calls Boyd's way of talking a 'gifted silver tongue.'
EXPLOSIVES EXPERT: From working in the mines of Harlan, Boyd has become an explosives expert. From a stick of dynamite to a small 10ccs on a pressure timer, Boyd can do just about anything with a bit of gunpowder and some time. This includes homemade bombs.
MINER A bit of a boring ability but an ability nonetheless, Boyd knows how to work and structure a mine. This also links into his explosives ability: not only can he tell when something is structurally weak, as his life depended on it down below, but he has a knack for sensing when things are going to cave in and the like. Most of that might, however, just be paranoia.
An extremely short personality, greatly summed up:

Boyd is an enigma throughout the entire series, despite having the clear motivation of one thing: money. It's glaringly obvious, even at first watch, that Boyd will do what he has to and has absolutely no regard for the law, nor does he think he should. He views himself as an outlaw, whether because of nature or nurture, and he very much is one.
Boyd is smart--entirely too smart for his own good, as proven time and time again. He has a silver tongue and a gift for galvanizing crowds, and while he only finished high school, if that, he has one hell of a vocabulary. He chooses to say things in five words instead of one: it's a conscious decision, and one that is a stark contrast to the Harlan hillbilly stereotype. He's not a cultured redneck, mind you, but he'll kick your ass in a game of scrabble any day.
His intelligence, as mentioned before, is matched only by his wit and alarming amount of charisma. Not only is he seen with followers, be it religious or otherwise, but they trust him implicitly. For the most part he treats them well and seems to genuinely care for most of them. However, it's important to distinguish that while he cares about them to some degree--Devil comes to mind--if it means furthering his own gain, he has no qualms doing them in just to create a distraction.
Boyd, for the most part, is seen as quite aloof and incredibly put together. Instead of the usual redneck attire, he always wears a button up and vest, but he doesn't pretend he's anything he's not: he's a Crowder. He's come to terms with that, though it's taken him a while, and he has Crowder blood in him. While he staves it off and is normally cool and collected, he can still get overemotional. Mostly about Ava's well being--it's then that he becomes even more dangerous than he already is. The cold eye for profit and the slow burning rage will explode, leaving only rage and mostly likely a few more bodies to his count.
All in all, Boyd Crowder is a charismatic, dangerous, silver-tongued man with a knack for using bigger words than he should and a penchant for, as he says, 'blowing shit up.'
